Leesville High School

Description: The Leesville High School project is scheduled to be completed in 6 phases that are estimated to take 3 years to finalize. Phase 1 includes the construction of a new parking area, sidewalks and the installation of a new drainage system in the southwest area of the site adjacent to Berry Avenue. Phase 2 includes the construction of an entrance drive as well as various retaining wall units, sidewalks, and all drainage associated with this area. Phase 2 also includes the construction of a new 2 story classroom building. Phase 3 includes the construction of a new parking area, sidewalks and all associated drainage for the Southeast area of the site adjacent to Berry Avenue. Phase 4 includes the construction of an entrance drive to the front of the school including parking and sidewalks. Phase 5 includes the selective demolition of several buildings to allow for the renovation of 3 buildings and the construction of 3 new buildings. Phase 6 includes the construction of a new parking area equipped with sidewalks and a bus route at the Northwest area of the side adjacent to Phase 1 parking.

Description: The Replacement of Dormitories, Louisiana Special Education Center requires demolition of the existing Boys dormitory and constructing a new Boys and a new Girls dormitory. The Project will be done in two phases and scheduled to complete in 24 months. Phase 1 includes extensive new and/or re-routing of all utilities before partial demolition of the existing Boys dormitory to allow construction of the new Boys dormitory. The portion of the remaining dormitory building will stay in use until the completion of Phase 1. Phase 2 includes demolition of the remaining portion of the existing dormitory and constructing the new Girls dormitory. Each building is similar as far as the floor plan and are connected by a new covered walkway. Each building is CMU masonry and structural steel framing with a brick veneer. Each building is single story with 22,700 sf under roof. There will also be a new Boiler Building which will serve both buildings for heated water.


Nature Trail Restoration, Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge

The renovation of the JR High Wing will include the demo and installation of new walls, renovation of the existing bathrooms, new acoustical ceiling and exterior metal wall panels. The library renovation will be a complete demo of the corridor going across the front of the library. A new pre-engineered building will then be constructed and tied into the existing library.
